Betting Tip: Brighton @ 5/6 with bet365

The Seagulls were one of the better teams in the Championship last season, with Chris Hughton’s side challenging for automatic promotion throughout the campaign only to narrowly miss out to Middlesbrough.

In the play-offs, injuries conspired to see Brighton lose to Sheffield Wednesday despite a blistering performance at the AMEX Stadium and we’re likely to see another of those on Friday evening when Forest come to Sussex.

Nigel Pearson acknowledged that Albion were the better team at the iPro Stadium last weekend, with Glen Murray just lacking that sharpness to find a winner although the striker might have more joy against a Forest side who conceded three times at home to Burton last Saturday.

The Tricky Trees admittedly scored four times to win the game, although they were suspect at the back throughout the contest and could well have conceded at the death, with Brighton likely to be merciless in this clash.

A 4-0 League Cup thrashing of Colchester during the week illustrated their squad depth and Philippe Montanier is still finding his feet in the Championship and unlikely to set his team up to cope with the Brighton onslaught.

Anthony Knockaert is one of the brightest attacking midfielders in the division, with Bruno and Lewis Dunk forming a solid central defensive partnership and we’re happy to confidently back Brighton to win this game at the prices.
