Chelsea can’t win the Premier League or Capital One Cup this season, so the only domestic honour available is the FA Cup.

The Blues have been handed a plum tie for the third round, with Scunthorpe unlikely to cause them too many problems at Stamford Bridge, even if Bradford City came and did a number on Chelsea twelve months ago.

Guus Hiddink’s arrival has steadied the ship and last weekend’s 3-0 victory at Selhurst Park put smiles on everyone’s face, with Diego Costa looking like a new man since Jose Mourinho left the club.

Rather than back Chelsea to win at very short odds, it could be worth taking a punt on Costa to break the deadlock considering that Hiddink is getting the best out of the Spanish international.

He bagged a brace against Watford recently and led the line well against the Eagles, with Costa adding a third goal after Oscar and Willian had previously scored.

A training ground bust-up with Oscar was in the papers this week, although they’ll celebrate together as Chelsea run riot against a Scunny team hoping to cause some problems.

Paddy Madden is one of League One’s best forwards, although United sit fifteenth in their respective table. Nevertheless, they have had consecutive 1-1 draws at home to Rochdale and Wigan after a 1-0 win away to Doncaster.
