Derby County have won 50% of their games at the iPro Stadium this season and two of them came recently against Blackburn and Huddersfield.

However, the Rams have been erratic in recent weeks and they were recently beaten 2-0 by QPR before leading 3-0 at Rotherham only to draw the game 3-3.

Owner Mel Morris has already made an odd decision in sacking Paul Clement and appointing Darren Wassall as interim boss, with the caretaker manager seemingly struggling to tame the egos in the dressing room.

Harry Redknapp has now come in as director of football to confuse matters further and it’s a strange lead-up to Saturday’s derby clash against a Nottingham Forest who are also without a permanent manager.

Dougie Freedman was given his marching orders last week and former Derby player Paul Williams has been placed in caretaker charge. A 1-1 draw at Hull on Tuesday kicked things off nicely.

There are some decent players in this Forest team and the Tricky Trees have avoided defeat in eleven of their eighteen matches this season.

There is also the fact that they beat Derby in the reverse fixture, with Forest’s recent away results actually not too bad. There were 1-0 defeats at Burnley and Ipswich which followed 1-0 wins at Leeds and Middlesbrough. No prizes for guessing what the approach will be on Saturday.
