Roberto Martinez has issued a rallying cry ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, with the Spaniard hoping his squad can be quickly galvanised ahead of a vital clash against Manchester United.

However, Everton are in the doldrums after a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool and Martinez is seemingly a dead man walking, with the majority of supporters now feeling as though he’s run his course at Goodison Park.

Since beating Chelsea 2-0 in the previous round of the FA Cup, it has been six games without a victory and the team have scored just two goals in those matches, with Romelu Lukaku suffering from a drought in the process.

Ramiro Funes Mori is suspended and Phil Jagielka is missing in defence, with Seamus Coleman and Gareth Barry also likely to be missing.

It’s not been a barrel of laughs for Manchester United this season although they are just two points behind Manchester City in the Premier League and have Wayne Rooney back for this big game.

Aside from a 3-0 reverse at White Hart Lane, United have won their past five matches and can be backed with confidence to get the job done in this game.

They recently beat Everton 1-0 at Old Trafford, with the Toffees barely able to muster a scoring chance for the ninety minutes and David de Gea might not have much to do in this game either.

Players such as Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini and Memphis Depay are among those hoping to feature, with Marcus Rashford and Wayne Rooney likely to pose plenty of problems along with Anthony Martial.
