Argentina have scored twice in six of their last seven matches and that included the Copa America opener against Paraguay.

Goals from Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi thrust La Albiceleste into what looked like an unassailable lead, although their opponents struck back with two goals to illustrate that the Argentina defence has a weak underbelly.

Uruguay opened with a slender 1-0 victory against Jamaica which means a point would suit them very well from this match. The big downside is not having Luis Suarez in the team, although Oscar Tabarez can call upon plenty of experienced players including the formidable Diego Godin in central defence.

Edinson Cavani is also a lively attacking focal point and Uruguay can play their part in a high-scoring match which Argentine may just edge.
