Few expected the type of performance from Hungary that saw them beat Austria, a team who were many people’s dark horses before the tournament began.

The Magyars finished in Northern Ireland’s qualifying group, with the latter and Romania ahead of them and Hungary needed a play-off against Norway to claim their place at Euro 2016.

However, Bernd Storck’s side employed a 4-1-4-1 system to great effect, with Adam Szalai opening the scoring before Zoltan Stieber put the icing on the cake to put the Hungarians in pole position.

Hungary can now face Iceland without necessarily needing to win the game, although odds of 2/1 are too good to turn down considering that the Icelanders didn’t play particularly well when grinding out a 1-1 draw against Portugal.

They afforded the Portuguese so much respect and got away with the desired outcome, although Lars Lagerback will know his team have to perform better and it’s questionable that they should be favourites for this one.

Therefore, we are going for Hungary on the Draw No Bet market, with the tag of dark horses going to a side who are enjoying Euro 2016 and are now ready to work hard to achieve another desired outcome.
