It remains to be seen whether we’ve actually got a Scottish Premiership title race this season, although Aberdeen aren’t putting a foot wrong at the moment.

The Dons sit second and just three points behind leaders Celtic after twenty-five games played, with Derek McInnes’ side having won their last four matches to make things semi-interesting.

Aberdeen have to keep winning and they can certainly do this against a Caley side who have won just four of their twelve home matches in the Scottish Premiership this term.

John Hughes’ team did beat the same opponents earlier this season by a 2-1 scoreline and the teams then played out a 2-2 draw at Pittodrie on Boxing Day which saw the Dons come from two goals down to land a point.

However, Aberdeen are firmly in the groove and scoring lots of goals, with recent away wins at Ross County and St Johnstone, the latter of which was a 4-3 victory which saw the visitors have to withstand a late onslaught.

They’re enjoying lots of momentum at the moment and clearly going for the jugular in every match. We expect to see them over the line in this one, especially with Adam Rooney in such excellent form.
