Betting Tip: Draw @ 5/2 with bet365

At the start of the season, if you had told someone there would be a seventeen-point margin between Chelsea and Leicester in mid-December, they wouldn’t have been too surprised.

However, the fact that the Foxes hold this amazing advantage puts a whole new spin on things, with Claudio Ranieri’s side potentially going twenty clear of the champions this evening if they land the three points.

Leicester have been the surprise package of the Premier League to date and they will return to the top with a win this evening, having landed a maximum haul in four of their seven home matches.

Only Arsenal have come away from the King Power with a victory after an Alexis Sanchez-inspired 5-2 triumph, with that loss representing the only Foxes reverse of the entire season.

So it’s difficult to oppose Leicester, although Chelsea are also showing signs of recovery, having beaten Porto during the week to book their spot in the last sixteen of the Champions League.

OK, so they were beaten at home to Bournemouth in the last Premier League match although Mourinho’s men had previously drawn 0-0 away at White Hart Lane and will be in no mood to allow Mahrez and Vardy to run riot tonight.

Indeed, Chelsea have kept clean sheets in four of their past five matches and are capable of keeping things tight, with Leicester clearly wary of a team who have had an underwhelming first half of the season but have the quality to hurt the Foxes.

The prices indicate that backing the draw offers the most value, with neither team likely to run away with it. Leicester recently drew 1-1 with Manchester United and a similar scoreline could be on the cards.
