Reds way too short for victory

If Liverpool were regularly overpriced to win matches under Brendan Rodgers, this is especially the case now that Jurgen Klopp has become manager.

If it was so blindingly obvious that the German would bring about a change in fortunes, then why did the Fenway Sports Group delay until October before appointing someone who did well with Borussia Dortmund?

Klopp has got his players covering the yards although there was no end product at White Hart Lane and Liverpool are criminally short to beat a Rubin Kazan side that don’t travel particularly well but still need to be respected.

They finished fifth in the Russian League last term and have started slowly this time around, although a 3-1 victory over FC Ufa ended a run of five games without a win, with Rubin in need of a positive result after taking just a point from their first two Europa League group games.

Yes Liverpool deserve to be favourites but we’re happy to side with the visitors on the handicap market considering that Divock Origi is set to continue in attack in the absence of Danny Ings, Christian Benteke and Daniel Sturridge.
