Jose Mourinho saw his United team score a four-goal haul for the third Premier League game this season, although the majority of key players will be given the evening off for the visit of Burton.

Manchester United are the EFL Cup holders so we might see Jose Mourinho aim to win the competition although he won’t need to play a strong team to overcome a Burton side who will be scrapping against the Championship drop again this season.

In fairness, Nigel Clough’s side managed to stay up last season and they’re in with a fighting chance again this term, with the Brewers sitting nineteenth in the table after collecting eight points from eight games.

A 2-1 win over Fulham on Saturday was a much-needed boost after three games without a win although they did win at Cardiff in the previous round of the cup.

A trip to Old Trafford looks daunting, however, with Manchester United having a huge squad and that’s why Mourinho can afford to play Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Michael Carrick and Ander Herrera in this clash.

All of these players are high quality and we’re expecting a comfortable win for United who are likely to have Sergio Romero between the sticks and Chris Smalling operating in central defence.
