There was nothing between Bradford and Millwall during their two League One matches this season, with 1-1 draws being played out at Valley Parade and The Den.

Indeed, only six points separated the sides during the regular season, with the teams overcoming Fleetwood and Scunthorpe respectively to reach the Wembley play-off final although only one team can experience the delight of promotion.

The national stadium is likely to be pretty full for a game between two well-supported teams, with a cagey game on the cards considering what’s at stake.

A year ago, Barnsley beat Millwall in the play-off final and there’s an advantage for the latter to head to Wembley wanting to avoid a repeat of this scenario, although the Bantams will be confident of keeping things tight.

When a match like this is hard to call but expected to be cagey, it’s worth considering a couple of correct score options. It’s certain that the team who score the first goal will then want to sit tight, look how Bradford closed out the tie against Fleetwood after getting that all-important goal.

Millwall also drew 0-0 against Scunthorpe before the latter opened the scoring at Glanford Park and that forced the visitors to come on to the front foot, with the Lions claiming a 3-2 victory.

However, they will be back to battening down the hatches at Wembley and it could be a case of first goal wins.
