Betting Tip: Accession @ 20/1 with bet365

Elsewhere Aidan O’Brien’s LANDOFHOPEANDGLORY looks a worthy favourite for the 1m2f £200,000 Tattersalls Millions Trophy given he sets the clear standard with his smart juvenile form and has already shown his stamina. He’s a best-priced 13/8 with Paddy Power at the time of writing and the double with Foundation pays just over 10/3 with the Irish firm.

But I’m going in search of bigger odds and the 20/1 on offer for Charlie Fellowes’ ACCESSION looks too big to pass up in the 7f handicap (5.05pm). The seven-year-old rarely runs a bad race here – recent form figures here of 1443 – and he starts this season in a mark of 89, which is just 3lb above his last winning one.

He might need his first run back of course but that can be said of a lot of these and the same stable’s Prince Of Arran did win on his reappearance at Kempton earlier this month, with a couple of others finishing in the frame. He seems pretty versatile in terms of the ground too, so a big run over what is his best trip would not surprise in the slightest.
