Alex Neil could do no wrong as Norwich City manager last season, with the Scot having shaken things up at Carrow Road and steered the Canaries into the Premier League through the play-offs.

Life was inevitably going to be tougher in the top flight and a return of twelve games from thirteen matches have been enough to keep Norwich’s heads above water although Neil knows that this ratio of points per game needs improving upon.

Perhaps that won’t happen on Sunday when Arsenal come to town. The Gunners lost at West Brom last weekend although they ultimately dominated proceedings at The Hawthorns and can file that reverse under the unfortunate category.

Arsene Wenger’s team have won five of their seven away matches this season, with a 2-0 reverse at Stamford Bridge the only other time they have tasted defeat. While Francis Coquelin has been sidelined for several weeks, Aaron Ramsey is back in the fold and the visitors have enough quality to win the game.

Wenger doesn’t have many alternate options to the players that featured against Dinamo Zagreb and Norwich won’t be easily beaten. Indeed, Neil’s men have only lost by the odd goal in four of their past five defeats.

Therefore, we’re tempted to have a play on the correct score market and back the visitors to win by a 2-1 scoreline, with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil likely to turn the game in favour of Arsenal despite a typically plucky effort from the Canaries.
