The Posh are up to seventh in League One after Saturday’s 2-0 win at MK Dons, with Andrew Hughes and Michael Bostwick finding the net and helping Grant McCann’s side reach nine points.

However, whether they should be odds-on to beat Swindon on Saturday is another matter. The Robins have seven points from their opening four matches and they had the better of Bristol Rovers before the weekend game was abandoned.

The visitors have only tasted defeat once so far this season, with a 2-2 draw coming at QPR in the League Cup and a 1-1 draw at Gillingham happening more recently for Luke Williams’ side.

Williams is keen for his team to run a tight ship and Peterborough could certainly be thwarted. United did thrash Millwall 5-1 at London Road although Saturday’s opponents will almost certainly adopt a more cautious approach.

It’s also worth noting that Bradford left with a slender 1-0 victory earlier in the season and Swindon will hope to keep things quiet in the early stages.
