Let’s not get carried away by Manchester City’s 4-0 win at Bournemouth on Saturday. Previously to this, Manuel Pellegrini’s side had stumbled to a goalless draw at Carrow Road and then lost the Manchester derby at the Etihad.

The Cherries simply couldn’t cope with that early City onslaught and it’s been a long season for a team who have done the hard work in terms of staying in the Premier League.

Paris Saint-Germain are a completely different animal. We’re talking about the champions of France who are a staggering 25 points clear of the opposition in Ligue 1.

They have wiped the floor with all forms of opposition this term and defeated Chelsea 4-2 on aggregate, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic bringing his goal total to 40 after Saturday’s hat-trick against Nice.

Zlatan is unplayable for the most part and that’s especially the case when Manchester City are missing Vincent Kompany and potentially Joe Hart.

Raheem Sterling is also missing and, while Kevin de Bruyne’s return boosts the team immensely, the defence will be severely tested against a team who boast the excellent Blaise Matuidi and Adrien Rabiot in the middle of the park.
