Betting Tip: Draw #2-2 @ 11/1 with williamhill

Roll up for the first El Clasico of the season, with Barcelona looking to strike a blow to their arch-rivals by moving six points clear at the top of La Liga table.

Luis Enrique’s team have won their last four league matches while also accounting for Bate Borisov home and away in the Champions League. This is despite the fact that Lionel Messi has been on the sidelines.

Not that it’s terrible to have Luis Suarez and Neymar in attack, with the Brazilian scoring ten goals in his past six Barca matches and likely to be a thorn in the side of a Real Madrid team which appear to be struggling at the moment.

Rafael Benitez is apparently a man under pressure, with Los Merengues at sixes and sevens when losing 3-2 at Sevilla before the international break, although that was their first defeat of the entire season.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s impact has been modest when set against previous seasons and the Real fans will hope to see their main man deliver the good in this most vital of fixtures, although the visitors will look to shackle him early in the game and Sergio Busquets is having a brilliant season.

We’re accustomed to seeing goals being scored in this fixture and it should be no different for a clash where both sides will be on the front foot. It’s impossible to see Neymar and Suarez not scoring, with Messi capable of providing a cameo appearance from the bench.
