Swansea City’s Jonjo Shelvey has scored two in four against former club Liverpool, and is a great value, best-price with PaddyPower at 5/1 to strike again anytime at the Liberty Stadium.

Last season, the 23-year-old netted a long-range screamer after two minutes to put the Swans in the lead at their home ground, and was also pivotal throughout as Garry Monk’s side eventually secured a 2-2 draw.

He followed this up with an equally impressive performance at Anfield, getting on the scoresheet once more. This term against the Reds, Shelvey has been among the goals at the wrong end of the pitch, netting Liverpool’s fourth in the 4-1 defeat at Anfield in the Premier League.

To repeat his exploits in the fixture this time around, he is also a best-priced 14/1 with BetVictor to break the deadlock. He has dispatched eight goals since his move to the Swans, contributing 12 assists, and has been a key player for Monk’s men this campaign.

Also with form in this fixture is Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge. Last term in the 2-2 draw, the striker got on the scoresheet, while in the match at Anfield he bagged a brace. Although he was injured when the two sides met earlier this season, he has hit the ground running since recovering, and is 11/2 with Ladbrokes to net first.

Chances of another 2-2 draw are considered slim, reflected by odds of 16/1 by Bet365, with Liverpool needing a win to maintain pressure on the Premier League top four.

Adam Lallana struck twice in the Reds’ 4-1 win in December and, as a result, is 7/2 with Coral in the anytime market. To repeat or better his performance, netting two or more, he is 30/1 with PaddyPower, while Gylfi Sigurdsson, who got the Swans’ solitary goal, will also be hoping to be among the scorers. The Icelandic international is 41/10 with 888.com in the anytime market.
