Tottenham Hotspur might beat Everton on Saturday evening, although odds of 1/4 are ridiculous about a side who have failed to win five Premier League home games this season.

West Ham, West Brom, Swansea, Burnley and Chelsea are the five sides to have avoided defeat when travelling to Wembley and the first four teams employed similar tactics to good effect.

Namely to put plenty of men behind the ball and Everton will be doing more of the same for this clash as Sam Allardyce looks to arrest a losing run of three matches.

Indeed, the Toffees are without a victory in five although there are home matches against West Brom and Leicester to end that particular drought and Allardyce will be hoping for a similar performance to the one at Anfield last week.

Everton played pretty well in that FA Cup clash and were close to forcing a replay before Virgin van Dijk scored a late winner, with the Blues having rallied at 1-0 down to score a cracking equaliser through Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Mason Holgate and Phil Jagielka look set to continue in central defence, although Ademola Lookman might be worthy of a start after his effective sub’s performance at Anfield.

As for Tottenham, they are obviously capable of scoring plenty and Harry Kane is a man who has thirty goals for the season, although he has drawn a few blanks along the way.

At the very least, we should consider the visitors on BetVictor’s Asian Handicap market where they can be backed with a 1.5 goal start at quotes of odds-agaisnt.
