David Moyes is already scratching his head as to how Sam Allardyce’s Great Escape can be followed at the Stadium of Light.

There have been three defeats and a draw so far, with Moyes quick to admit his side would be in for a scrap against the drop and it’s hard to see how they are going to live with Tottenham on Sunday.

Mauricio Pochettino was spitting feathers on Wednesday night as his team conceded two early goals against Monaco at Wembley, with the Champions League encounter ending in a 2-1 reverse.

Harry Kane missed a good chance to equalise for the London side although the damage was done early in the game and we can expect the defence to be a good deal tighter against a Sunderland side with little attacking threat.

Jermain Defoe does have a couple of goals on the board already although the diminutive striker was starved of service against Everton on Monday, with a defensive rearguard action likely to be on show at White Hart Lane.

Crystal Palace failed to get a goal at this ground earlier in the season, with Liverpool managing to find the net once and that points towards a likely Tottenham clean sheet.

Going forward, Spurs will present a big attacking threat, with Moussa Dembele likely to enjoy his first Premier League start of the season and Dele Alli consequently promoted to a more attacking role within the team.

Moussa Sissoko is also an option as the £30 million man looks to make an impact for the home side and we’re happy to get with Spurs winning this with something to spare.
