Southampton slayed the Dutch outfit 3-0 at St Mary’s, and are a brilliant 13/10 bet to beat them again in 90 minutes in the Netherlands.

Ronald Koeman will return to the club he first managed, Vitesse Arnhem, in the hope of seeing them off and thus reach the Europa League play-offs with Southampton, who are playing in Europe for the first time since 2003/04.

His Saints side boast a 3-0 aggregate advantage from their first leg at St Mary’s against the Eredivisie outfit, and are huge 1/300 odds-on favourites to progress from the third qualifying with Paddy Power. However, they are a far more enticing 13/10 chance with Boylesports and BetVictor to win in 90 minutes.

Vitesse may have the likes of Chelsea loanees Isaiah Brown, Lewis Baker, Danilo Pantic and Nathan on their books, but they are all aged 20 or under, so are unlikely to trouble Southampton’s established stars.

Scoring Saints strikers in the first leg were Graziano Pelle and Shane long, and they are best priced at 8/5 with Ladbrokes and 7/4 with Coral respectively to net anytime once more.

The likes of returning forward Jay Rodriguez (15/8), Sadio Mane (21/10), who netted the fastest ever Premier League hat-trick last season, and new Spanish signing Juanmi (17/10, all with Ladbrokes) are also decent shouts in the same market.

Dusan Tadic, meanwhile, who scored from the spot in the first leg, can be backed at 2/1, also with Ladbrokes.

If you fancy Southampton, who finished seventh in the English top-flight last term, to win by the same 3-0 scoreline, then you can take enticing odds of 25/1 with either BetVictor or Coral.

With the latter bookies, they are 18/5 to triumph without conceding in normal time, and 5/2 to keep a clean sheet.

Southampton are certainly looking in great shape to reach the Europa League group stage and go far in the competition, after winning their first match in Europe since 1981 last time out.

Under Koeman, they look a talented side, that can beat any team on their day, as they proved last term in the Premier League. They are very tempting chances at 33/1, best priced with Betway among others, to go all the way and lift the trophy this year.
