Manchester City will host West Bromwich Albion in the first game since their disappointing Champions League exit at the hands of Spanish giants Barcelona.

The Baggies could be set to be the victims of a rapid backlash from the reigning Premier League champions, as they look to make up ground on Premier League leaders Chelsea.

Recent African Cup of Nations winner Yaya Toure will be on a mission to banish any lasting demons of that miserable night in Spain, as he aims to continue his rampant record against West Brom.

Toure is a tantalising best priced 10/3 with Coral to net anytime against Tony Pulis’ men, having struck in last December’s comfortable 3-1 triumph.

The towering midfield magician also bagged a brilliant brace, including the decisive goal, in his side’s narrow 3-2 victory at The Hawthorns last season.

Toure received plenty of criticism for his lacklustre display against his former employers Barcelona in the recent second leg defeat, as he uncharacteristically stumbled to a poor showing on the big occasion.

However, City and Toure will be hoping to rapidly bounce back in their next Premier League outing, spelling bad news for the Baggies.

Amazing Argentine attacker Sergio Aguero also suffered much harsh treatment for his stuttering showing and penalty miss against the Spanish giants, but he will be keen to overturn that underwhelming outing.

The sublime striker struck in both home and away fixtures against West Brom last term, and also netted a delightful double against the West Midlands outfit in 2012.

Aguero is available at 10/3 with Coral to open proceedings at the Etihad Stadium, following his run of 23 goals in 35 appearances this current campaign.

The in-form forward is always a threat and has scored four times in his five league appearances against West Brom.

Manuel Pellegrini’s City will be confident of overcoming the Baggies, having won nine and lost none of their last 10 top-flight encounters.

They are available at 2/7 with Sky Bet to secure another victory and continue that superior head-to-head record this time out.

The hosts will be gunning for a quick start and they are seemingly likely to make an instant impact, as they have scored four goals inside the first 10 minutes in their last three Premier League games against West Brom.
