Tip 1 - 1:54 Newbury - Impose Toi

Impose Toi is aptly named in this lineup, as he looks an imposing horse to beat alright. Racing for the first time since January, his readiness when fresh is not in question. Beaten just a neck by Luccia - now rated 149 - on penultimate start and looks like he will take plenty of beating here.

Tip 2 - 3:00 Newbury - Galia Des Liteaux

This race looks like it has always been the target this season for Galia Des Liteaux. Right there in the Grand National until the petrol tank hit empty on the run in, she now drops to a trip which should be perfect for her. Her reappearance this season after a wind op was over a trip far too short, but it did allow the handicapper to drop her to a very workable mark of 144.

Tip 3 - 3:20 Newcastle - Neon Moon

This looks a very open race, with questions to answer from pretty much all of the protagonists. Neon Moon has looked in great nick since returning from wind surgery, with a nice win at Chepstow last month followed up by a more than decent third at Ascot just over four lengths behind the now-157-rated Chianti Classico. Off a mark of 136 here, Neon Moon could be very dangerous indeed.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
