Leicester City are two points adrift at the foot of the Premier League table and their plight won't be helped when they face Arsenal at the Emirates tonight.
The Foxes have managed a mere four wins in this season’s top flight and are widely tipped for the drop back to the Championship at the first time of asking. Uncertainty surrounds the future of manager Nigel Pearson and things are looking far from rosy at the King Power Stadium.
Matters won’t be helped in North London this evening. The Gunners will be eager to bounce back from their weekend defeat to Tottenham Hotspur and return to winning ways. Indeed, Arsene Wenger’s side are just two points adrift of the play-off places and a win tonight would lift them above Manchester United, at least for one day.
The Gunners are scoring for fun of late and prior to the 2-1 defeat to Spurs on Saturday, they managed fifteen goals in their previous five matches and should have little difficulty piercing the visitors’ defence tonight.
Leicester have been less than prolific in front of goal and will struggle against a Gunners defence which has managed clean sheets in three out of their last four outings. Indeed, we feel that they will fail to get onto the scoresheet at all and we’ll be backing an Arsenal win-to-nil at 6/5 with Sky Bet.
Two of those matches included goals by Olivier Giroud, the French striker looking decent value at Evens to score his ninth goal of the season at some point of this clash.
