Arsenal v Middlesbrough betting tips – Current holders will reach quarter-finals

Arsenal will move closer to their second successive FA Cup triumph

Middlesbrough will be confident of another Premier League scalp in the FA Cup but Arsenal will be having none of it.

Perhaps the biggest upset of the FA Cup fourth round was Middlesbrough’s 2-0 triumph over reigning Premier League champions, Enrique Garcia Martinez and Patrick Bamford striking in the second half to send Pellegrini’s side out of the competition at the Etihad and their reward is a journey to the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

We feel that it won’t be a happy ending for the visitors however. The Gunners have won all but one of their last seven outings and all of their last eight at home. They defeated Leicester City in their midweek match and they look set to clinch another win which will send them into the last eight of the FA Cup.

Hardly a surprise then that the Gunners are overwhelming odds-on favourites to win this match and at odds of 4/9, we’ll be looking elsewhere to find some better value.

We are immediately drawn to 888sport’s 23/10 for an Arsenal win with both teams scoring. The Gunners conceded in their match against Leicester City on Tuesday evening and could easily do so again against a Middlesbrough side who have soared to the top of the Championship table.

Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez will be absent for this clash, however Arsenal will still prove too strong for ‘Boro to cope with and will ease past the visitors by a single goal.
