Aston Villa v Manchester United betting tips – United will be in seventh heaven

Van Gaal will grinning even more at the final whistle on Saturday

The Red Devils are very much on the march and should enjoy their seventh successive win at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Old Trafford faithful will be increasingly confident that the glory days may be about to return to their club, Manchester United looking set to clinch a seventh successive Premier League win at Aston Villa on Saturday.

Van Gaal appears to be finding his feet at long last, just as he eventually did in 2009/10 at Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga side starting that season in poor form but subsequently managing thirteen straight wins through until February.

The Red Devils have had similar fortunes, starting their season dreadfully but now winning six in a row. A victory at Villa Park would lift the Old Trafford spirits even higher and apart from the trip to White hart Lane there is really little for United to fear over the festive period and into the new year, that is until the trip to Upton Park in February.

If history is indeed repeating itself, there is every chance to believe that the Red Devils could make a concerted effort at clinching the Premier League title this season, something which looked extremely unlikely only a few weeks ago.

Following victories against Liverpool, Southampton and Arsenal, United will have no fear of facing an Aston Villa side who have been struggling somewhat this season yet again. The hosts suffered defeat at the hands of West Brom at the Hawthorns last weekend, former Villa player Craig Gardner scoring the winning goal for the Baggies.

With Aston Villa displaying their usual inconsistency, we expect Manchester United to come out on top and maintain their excellent winning run. Three points will be in the United bag with something to spare.
