The top two in the Premier League are unsurprising favourites to lift the World's most famous domestic trophy this season.
The Third Round draw has been made and Manchester City and Chelsea are as low as 5/1 to go all the way in the competition following favourable ties at home to lower league opponents.
The current Premier League leaders Chelsea ( Best odds 11/2 Sky Bet ) host Watford ( 500/1 ) in a match which will see the two sides meet for the fifth time in this competition in just eleven seasons. The most recent clash was in 2010, Daniel Sturridge scoring twice in a third round 5-0 victory for the Blues.
Manchester City ( 6/1 ) are also playing host to a Championship outfit with Sheffield Wednesday ( 600/1 ) the third round visitors to the Etihad. This match may well see the return from injury of Sergio Aguero, the Argentinian pencilled in for this match following his ligament injury.
Manchester United ( 7/1 ) sit third in the betting after landing a tie with either Yeovil Town ( 1000/1 ) or Accrington Stanley ( 5000/1 ).
FA Cup holders Arsenal ( 9/1 ) will meet Premier League opponents Hull City ( 100/1 ) , their final opponents last season, the Gunners recovering from a two goal deficit to emerge as deserved 3-2 winners at the final whistle.
Burnley ( 125/1 ) will play host to Tottenham Hotspur ( 16/1 ) and Newcastle United ( 50/1 ) will travel to Leicester City ( 100/1 ) in the other two all-Premier League ties.
Eight non-league sides remain in the competition, Wrexham, Dover and Gateshead all being drawn against Premier League opponents in the form of Stoke, Crystal palace and West Brom respectively. Blyth Spartan’s reward for the defeat of League Two side Hartlepool is a tie with Championship outfit Birmingham City ( 250/1 ).
