These two sides will each be desperate for a win this weekend, however it is far from clear who will come out on top.
Hull City started the season confident that they could improve on their last campaign which saw them come perilously close to relegation as well as reaching the FA Cup final. Things haven’t exactly gone to plan however and the Tigers find themselves deep in the relegation zone coming towards the half-way stage of the season.
Steve Bruce’s side have been in desperately poor form, failing to win any of their previous nine Premier League matches and managing a mere two points during that period. With one triumph in their last fifteen games, Bruce needs to stop the rot at the KC Stadium.
Swansea will provide the opposition on Saturday, the south Wales side desperately needing a victory of their own. The visitors do indeed sit in the top half of the league table but are in danger of slipping down following a poor run which includes three defeats and one draw in their last five outings. The Swans enter this encounter as favourites at 8/5 with Coral, however going on recent form, we are cautious of backing Swansea for a win on Saturday, especially when we consider their dreadful form away from the Liberty Stadium and instead we’ll be looking elsewhere for some value.
Hull’s form at the KC Stadium is hardly inspiring either with three draws and a single win from their last seven matches, therefore we’ll be looking at the Under/Over Goals market. Ladbrokes are going 4/6 for there to be less than 2.5 goals in this game and that is an option we’ll be going for. All but two of Hull’s last eight games have produced under 2.5 goals with Steve Bruce’s side managing to score in just two of them. Swansea can score, however they have failed to grab themselves more than one in any of their last six outings. Don’t expect things to change for either side this weekend.
