Real Madrid a great bet at 6/4 to claim victory in Saturday night’s El Clasico
It was a routine 3-0 victory for Real Madrid at Anfield on Wednesday night, with this team of superstars now set for one of the biggest games of the season when Barcelona make the trip to the Bernabeu.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have a poor recent record against their arch-rivals, although they have a brilliant chance to claim three precious points on Saturday evening and Coral’s 6/4 about a home win looks a very fair price.
Cristiano Ronaldo has announced himself as the best player in the world over the past twelve months and he will be flanked by Karim Benzema, James Rodriguez and hopefully Gareth Bale if the Welshman recovers from injury.
It has been eight consecutive wins in all competitions and a string of goals from that man Ronaldo who has now scored in eleven straight games and rates as a cracking bet to score at any time in this game.
William Hill offer 10/11 that the Portuguese finds the net against a Barcelona side who are currently four points clear at the top of La Liga, with Luis Enrique’s side having dropped just two points all term.
A 0-0 draw at Malaga was the only occasion where points have been dropped by the Catalan giants, although they did lose 3-2 in the Champions League when playing Paris Saint-Germain.
Barca haven’t really been tested on the road in La Liga this term and much will depend in this game on whether Javier Mascherano can tame the potent Real Madrid attack including the devastating Ronaldo.
Naturally, Lionel Messi and Neymar will look to cause some damage at the other end and we’re expecting goals at both ends, although a 4-2 winning scoreline for the European champions looks like the bet to have.
All odds were correct at time of posting.
