It's north London derby time at White Hart Lane on Saturday and Arsene Wenger's side will be helping themselves to the points in front of the BT Sport cameras.
This weekend’s Premier League action kicks of on Saturday lunchtime with Spurs playing host to rivals Arsenal. The Gunners have been sweeping all aside since their 2-0 defeat at Southampton on New Year’s Day and will be in high spirits ahead of their journey across north London.
Indeed, Arsenal’s five goal thrashing of Aston Villa at the Emirates last weekend completes a noticeable turnaround for a side which was struggling somewhat early in the season.
Nevertheless, the fact remains that the Gunners have won their last three Premier League with ten goals scored and none conceded, a record which suggests that we could be seeing goals aplenty in this match.
Spurs have also been banging in the goals, putting three past West Brom at the Hawthorns on Saturday. Indeed, Pochettino’s side have managed twenty goals this month and as such, this weekend’s match promises much of the same.
The key difference between these sides lies at the back. Spurs’ defence hasn’t been the strongest around, League Two side scoring two against them at Bramall Lane in the Capital One Cup semi-final last week and they will certainly struggle against a Gunners attack which is scoring for fun this year.
With that in mind, we’ll be backing Over 3.5 Goals at White Hart Lane. Arsenal’s last two outings have seen ten goals, whilst Spurs’ last two matches have witnessed the back of the net bulge seven times suggesting that a goal-fest may be the order of the day.
