Tottenham Hotspur should have little difficulty in seeing off the Clarets at White Hart Lane tonight and marching through to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Spurs opened the new year with a thrilling 5-3 defeat of Premier League leaders Chelsea, however things have turned rather sour since then, the north London side being held to a 1-1 draw in the original tie of this round and suffering a 2-1 defeat to strugglers Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Pochettino will be desperate to see his side return to winning ways this evening and we feel that they can achieve that and knock the Clarets out of the competition.
Tottenham Hotspur have been in great form at home, remaining unbeaten in their last seven outings at White Hart Lane. This impressive form includes a 2-1 defeat of Burnley in the Premier League last month and as such it’s hardly a surprise that the home side start as firm favourites at 8/15 with William Hill.
Spurs appeared to spark into life when Harry Kane made a start from the subs bench and he will likely be included in the starting eleven tonight. Kane is in tremendous form right now with seven goals in eight matches. We’ll be expecting his fine form to continue tonight and as such, we’ll be backing him to score anytime in a Spurs victory at odds of 13/10 with Paddy Power.
Kane will certainly dominate the action tonight but Spurs are far from a one-man-show. They have huge quality in depth and should in reality play the Clarets off the park. Burnley have conceded two or more times in all but one of their last eight outings and they will struggle against a Spurs side who are on great form at home.
