Are you looking for a place to bet on all of the world's top sports? Want to check out markets on hockey, soccer, baseball and tennis? How does a quick bet on the World Cup, NHL or NBA sound? Sports Interaction has applied for a licence from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC), so this exciting site will be launching in Alberta around July 13th.
While Sports Interaction isn't accepting pre-registrations from Alberta bettors just yet, we already know a little bit about the site and what it offers, so we're here to give you a sneak peek. Let's get right into our Sports Interaction Alberta review.

We know the score on this sportsbook
Every sportsbook on Bookies.com earns its place. It's put through its paces across five key pillars by our team of sports betting specialists.
Our Alberta team evaluates sportsbooks to the standards of the Alberta Gaming Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC). We only recommend sites holding a valid AGLC licence.
How we rank sportsbooks →Will Sports Interaction be Regulated by July 13th?
Alberta is set to launch regulated online sports betting and casino gambling on July 13th, so essentially all sites that want to operate in the province after this deadline need to be granted a specific license by the AGLC. If sites aren't licensed, they won't be able to legally take players in Alberta going forward.
So, when is Sports Interaction's license due? While we can't say for certain, we would be relatively confident that the site will be licensed by July 13th. The application has been submitted already, and as Sports Interaction has already been through this process in Ontario, it should know exactly what it is doing.
How to Pre-Register for Sports Interaction
At the moment, bettors in Alberta can already sign up at Sports Interaction. Until the province officially regulates online gambling on July 13th, you can continue using the current site that's licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. However, once the regulation comes in, you might need to sign up at a new version of the site or at least re-verify your documents.
As the site is already technically in Alberta, you can't currently pre-register ahead of the launch. If pre-registration does open up a little closer to the time, we expect it to work like this:
- Click on a link at Bookies.com to go to the Sports Interaction website
- Complete the two-step form with details like your name, email address, date of birth and address
- Accept the T&Cs and make sure you opt in to marketing emails
While some Alberta sports betting sites will let you verify your account in advance, we can't say whether or not this will be the case at Sports Interaction.
Must be 19+ to participate. T&Cs apply. Play Responsibly.
What Responsible Gambling Options Does Sports Interaction Offer?
As part of Alberta online gambling regulations, Sports Interaction and all other sportsbooks need to make certain responsible gambling features available. For example, you need to be able to self-exclude from all licensed Alberta sites at the same time, if you feel the need.
You can also set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits, take a time out or cooling off period to give yourself a short break or set your own individual loss limits. The responsible gambling page is comprehensive and gives you all the information you need to use these tools, plus links to external help.
Should I Pre-Register With Sports Interaction?
While Sports Interaction isn't currently offering pre-registration for bettors in Alberta, there's always a chance that this does come up before the official launch. It's up to you whether you want to register in advance or wait until the day, but we'd recommend pre-registration to simplify the process.
If you pre-register, Sports Interaction will send you an email when the site is ready, so you'll know exactly when to head there and start betting. Some Alberta sportsbooks are even letting you get a step ahead by verifying your account in advance to save you some time on July 13th.
Sports Interaction Sportsbook Alberta: Platform, Security & Games

It's important that you have the lowdown on Sports Interaction to make the most informed choice you can ahead of the Alberta betting launch. Our betting experts have cast their eye over the site to let you know how it performs.
User Experience & Site Accessibility
We had a positive overall experience when we tested this site for our Sports Interaction Alberta review. The main sports page is easy to navigate, with top upcoming events right at the top and a list of all sports running down the side. We were also happy to see a filter for live games.
We liked the way that Sports Interaction integrates their sports and casino offerings. For example, newly released slot games are shown in the sports lobby and you can even play mini games while you bet.
If you're a mobile bettor, we'd recommend getting the Sports Interaction mobile app. It has all of the same betting markets as the desktop site, plus you can make use of mobile-first payment methods like Apple Pay.
Security and Safety
Safety should always be your top priority when you're betting online - that's why it's so important to choose a site that's fully licensed in Alberta. Sports Interaction uses a range of measures to keep your money and data safe, including secure, firewalled data centres and certified encrypted webpages.
You should also be prepared to upload your ID and proof of address documents to confirm that you're aged 18+ and located in Alberta. This is all part of the licensing regulations, and it's done to keep all bettors safe. Although the site is very secure, it's important to always keep details like your password private.
Payment Options
You can deposit and withdraw at Sports Interaction using methods like bank cards, Interac, Apple Pay and bank transfers. The minimum deposit amount is $10 and the max depends on your payment method.
Sports Interaction doesn't charge any fees for withdrawals, but you might want to check with your bank or payment provider as they may charge some fees. The minimum amount you can withdraw is $20 at a time. We were very happy to see that Sports Interaction offers lightning-fast withdrawals for some payment methods like Instant Banking payment. Bank cards and regular bank transfers may take several days, though.

Odds and Markets
One of the most important things about a sports betting site is the range of sports and markets, so this was a major consideration when we did our Sports Interaction Alberta review. We counted a total of 37 different sports, which is pretty impressive. A few major sports you can bet on include soccer, rugby, baseball, basketball and hockey, plus there are some markets on esports betting and entertainment.
Some popular events have more than 150 markets available, and the actual odds depend on the event and the market you've selected. Same-game parlays and parlays on multiple events are available, and there are even some pre-built parlays on big matches.
Live betting is a popular feature at Sports Interaction. During our review, we noticed live betting on lots of different sports including tennis, baseball and soccer. There's not a whole lot of live streaming, but you can watch a few events live once you're logged in, for example some e-sports and soccer matches, so you know this is a good football betting site.
How Does Sports Interaction Compare to Other Operators?
Sports Interaction compares well with a lot of other popular betting sites in Alberta. The range of sports is on par with market leaders like Betway Alberta and it eclipses betting sites such as PointsBet Alberta by a decent margin. We were also pleased to see that Sports Interaction has both Alberta online casino and sports betting, because we foresee some sites concentrating on only one of these. For example, Spin Casino Alberta doesn't have a sportsbook at all.
But there are a few sites that do better than Sports Interaction in terms of layout and usability. While the Sports Interaction site works well, the bet365 platform just feels a bit more modern and clean - and the same goes for Betway. bet365 also has a much bigger variety of live sports to bet on and many more games are streamed on the site and app. Sports Interaction also doesn't offer daily fantasy betting, so you're better off heading to DraftKings if that's something you want to explore.
Sports Interaction Alberta FAQs
Does Sports Interaction have an app in Alberta?
Sports Interaction already has separate apps for Ontario and the rest of Canada, so chances are you'll need to download specific Alberta betting apps from July 13th onwards. The apps will be available for both iOS and Android and will feature live streaming, same-game parlays and 3,000 casino games.
When will Sports Interaction launch in Alberta?
Regulated online sports betting launches in Alberta on July 13th 2026, so this is the most likely day that Sports Interaction will officially launch in the province. The launch depends on the site getting a license from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission, but we don’t expect any issues.
Who owns Sports Interaction?
Sports Interaction is owned by a company called Avid Gaming, which was acquired by the online gambling giant Entain in 2022. Entain is a familiar name to many, as they also own Coral, Ladbrokes and a number of other world-renowned online gambling platforms.
Is Sports Interaction legit?
To put it very simply, yes, Sports Interaction is completely legit. The site is already operating in other regions like Ontario and you can expect high levels of security, strong responsible gambling tools and encrypted webpages, ensuring that you enjoy a totally safe experience.
How long does Sports Interaction take to payout?
Withdrawals can be instant or take up to five days, depending on the payment method you’ve used. Instant banking is the quickest method, e-wallet transfers take about eight hours and other payment methods like bank cards or bank transfers take the longest at 3-5 days.
