Argentina remain favourites to lift the 2015 Copa America although they made pretty hard work of qualifying for the last eight stage. Having taken a 2-0 lead against Paraguay in their opener, they ended up drawing the game 2-2 and this was followed by slender 1-0 wins against Uruguay and Jamaica.

For all their attacking riches including Lionel Messi, La Albiceleste don’t seem to be a coherent outfit and they could be vulnerable against an unpredictable Colombia side who have already claimed the scalp of Brazil in this tournament.

On the flip side, Los Cafeteros were stunned by Venezuela in their opener and the final game saw a nervy goalless draw played out against Peru which meant Colombia went through as one of the best third-placed teams.

Carlos Bacca continues to serve a suspension which means it will be Radamel Falcao leading the line alongside Teo Gutierrez. Scoring goals are a big concern considering just one was notched during the group stage although Colombia are not about to start playing expansive football in this match!

Indeed, we should see a cagey match between two teams who have not lived up to expectation levels, with Sergio Aguero expected to return for this game after a shoulder injury kept him out against Jamaica.

Argentina will be wary of their opponents and will look to Javier Mascherano to keep close tabs on James Rodriguez in the middle of the park, with Messi and Angel Di Maria flanking Sergio Aguero and potentially squeezing past their opponents to stay on course for a Copa America triumph.
