It was all going so well for Bayern Munich at the Nou Camp. Goalless with fifteen minutes to play when Dani Alves won the ball on the right flank and fed Lionel Messi. Moments later and the world’s best player had burst the onion bag, with Messi then scoring an exquisite goal to double Barca’s advantage before Neymar essentially put them into the final.

Luis Enrique will be sounding all the right notes of caution ahead of this match although the bottom line is that Pep Guardiola’s side can’t possibly perform the heroics that saw Bayern come from a 3-1 first leg defeat against Porto to blitz the Portuguese side at the Allianz Arena.

Barca are simply too good to let that happen and the smart money is that the Spanish champions-elect will rack up another victory and qualify for the Champions League final in style.

The visitors won’t be looking to keep things tight, knowing that an away goal would leave Bayern needing to score five times and it’s very rare to see Barcelona go without a goal or two.

Messi is on fire at the moment and Luis Suarez will want to get in on the act, with the Barcelona defence able to shut out a Bayern side whose heads will surely drop should Barca get an early goal.
