Back Rovers to make it magic Monday

Betting Tip: Blackburn @ 6/5 with bet365

Blackburn are unbeaten in their past seven matches and this has neatly coincided with the arrival of Paul Lambert.

It’s easy to remember Lambert as the manager of a largely dull Aston Villa team although the Midlands’ team’s plight right now illustrates that the Scot wasn’t doing an abysmal job at Villa Park.

Furthermore, this is someone who previously steered Norwich City from League One to the Premier League, with Blackburn his latest club and back-to-back wins over Bristol City and Rotherham set them up nicely for Christmas.

Rovers sit just four points off the play-off spots and look a tasty enough bet to beat a Nottingham Forest side who have blown hot and cold this term, with Dougie Freedman seeing his team extend their unbeaten run to three games after a draw at Molineux.

The Tricky Trees have admittedly being doing well this term, although the majority of good results have come at the City Ground, with Forest having suffered four straight away defeats before that draw against Wolves.

With Grant Hanley marshalling the Rovers defence to good effect and Jordan Rhodes a dangerous hitman, it could pay to have a small wager on Blackburn continuing to rise up the table.
