Betting Tip: Swindon @ 5/4 with betvictor

Sheffield United have been mediocre in League One for much of the season, crawling into the play-offs without a great deal of confidence and it was no surprise when the Blades lost 2-1 to Swindon on Thursday night.

Nigel Clough can point to some dubious calls from the officials in that semi-final first leg match although United rarely looked comfortable when a goal in front and their 2-1 reverse at Bramall Lane means they must come out attacking on Monday night.

With the away goals rule non-existent for the play-offs, the Blades can have a crack at the County Ground although Swindon are in the box seat to reach Wembley and line up a play-off final against Preston North End.

With the visitors having to come forward and attack, it should leave gaps for Mark Cooper’s team to exploit, with the manager wondering whether to go with Andy Williams who was only sub in the first leg but has 22 goals to his name this season.

Sheffield United won nine of their twenty-three games in the regular season, although a trip to Swindon early on saw them battered 5-2 and we could see plenty of goals raining in as both teams look to secure their passage to Wembley.
