Blues can wreck Spurs title hopes

Betting Tip: Chelsea @ 9/5 with bet365

Chelsea have only won five of their seventeen matches at Stamford Bridge this season, meekly surrendering their Premier League title in the process.

Jose Mourinho started falling out with playing and medical staff before a ball was even kicked, with Guus Hiddink left to pick up the pieces before Antonio Conte comes in as permanent manager after Euro 2016.

Chelsea have clearly been a good deal better since the Dutchman took interim charge, with the Blues working their way into the top half of the Premier League table.

They battered Bournemouth last weekend, with Eden Hazard stepping up to the plate and the players will be fully aware that this is a significant fixture against a team who will hope they can still land the title.

The supporters will demand a spirited performance from Chelsea, with the starting XI probably better on paper than their opponents, while it should be noted that Tottenham are missing Dele Alli.

Alli’s indiscretion against West Brom means that the England midfielder is suspended for the rest of the season, with Spurs fluffing their lines against the Baggies on Monday.

Spurs did win 4-0 at the Britannia Stadium recently although they were second best when drawing 1-1 at Anfield in their previous away match and Chelsea will be keen to give their supporters some end-of-season cheer.
