It could be a good day for the sire Presenting as three of his progeny look to have solid winning chances at Fontwell this afternoon.

His son MOVEWITHTHETIMES, a full brother to the smart but ill-fated Venture Capital, made a winning bumper debut for Paul Nicholls at Wincanton in April and this big, strong individual can click at the first time of asking over hurdles in the opening novice. Reported to have schooled well by Nicholls, the five-year-old should know his job and the stable could not be in better form with 15 winners in the last fortnight (eight of the last 11 runners have obliged). The booking of Barry Geraghty increases confidence further.

He’s a backable price thanks to the presence of Harry Whittington’s Affaire D’Honneur, who was getting off the mark over hurdles when successful over slightly further here 18 days ago and has been put in as favourite around the 7/4 mark. He made hard work of that, though, and looks like he will better suited by a bigger field and a more truly run race (the Lanzarote has been mooted as a target), not to mention the 7lb penalty he carries for that success.
