Betting Tip: Poland +1.00 @ 29/21 with ladbrokes

Germany opened Euro 2016 with a typically efficient victory although they weren’t a lot better than Ukraine who had enough chances to get something from the game.

Joachim Low’s side now have another toughie in the form of Poland who had things a touch easier when overcoming a Northern Ireland side who stuck to their guns but were unable to make much headway.

There was little between the two sides in qualifying, with the teams in the same group and finishing ahead of Republic of Ireland and Scotland.

The Poles enjoyed a 2-0 win over Germany in Warsaw before the reverse fixture saw Die Mannschaft run out 3-1 victors in Frankfurt, so this suggests there might not be much between the sides.

OK so Germany have the big match pedigree which saw them claim the 2014 World Cup, although Poland have enough weaponry to cause them damage and that includes Robert Lewandowski who operates in a deadly fashion for Bayern Munich.

Grzegorz Krychowiak will be looking forward to clashing with Mesut Ozil and hoping to get some kind of hold in the midfield area, while Arkadiusz Milik found the goal against Northern Ireland and also scored against Germany in qualifying.

It might be the case that Germany run out winners of the match although the odds simply don’t accurately reflect the respective chances of the two teams and for that reason, we must go for the Poles.
