Huddersfield Town were among the favourites to be relegated from the Championship before the season started, although recent back-to-back wins against Charlton and Bolton have lifted them to mid-table.

Previously to this, it had been seven games without a win for the Yorkshire side although Chris Powell have scored more goals in the past two matches than they did in the previous six encounters.

Bet365 offer 6/4 about the Terriers claiming a hat-trick of victories on Thursday night, with Emyr Huws on loan from Wigan and the Welshman has scored three goals in the past two matches.

Powell said after the Bolton win: “Emyr is my sort of midfielder. He has good balance, an eye for a pass, wants the ball, wants to get in the box, doesn’t shirk his responsibilities and he has goals in him. I’ve kept my eye on him and knowing it hadn’t really worked out at Wigan, took the opportunity to sign him.”

Nevertheless, perhaps we shouldn’t get too carried away by Huddersfield considering they were struggling for a win previous to the last two matches and Nottingham Forest have lost just one game on the road this term.

That was at Brighton in their opening match, although the Tricky Trees have since drawn away to Bolton before wins away to Birmingham and QPR.

Forest lost their best player on transfer deadline day when Michail Antonio was sold to West Ham United, although Dougie Freedman’s side are playing with confidence and were only narrowly beaten at the weekend by league favourites Middlesbrough.

Perhaps they are a little short in attack although the fact that Huddersfield have conceded in every game to date and are currently full of goals means the logical conclusion is to bet on Over 2.5 Goals in this encounter.
