This is no longer a Wales team comprised of players from the lower leagues, with Gareth Bale one of the world’s best players and someone that will have to be taken seriously by an defence he faces.

Aaron Ramsey would also make the England team and the Arsenal maestro will be looking forward to getting his foot on the ball in a match which could go a long way in determining whether the Welsh can make it to Euro 2016.

Two wins and two draws so far represents a good start for Chris Coleman’s side and a goalless draw in Belgium was an unexpected bonus against a team that reached the 2014 World Cup quarter-finals.

Israel have enjoyed three wins from three games and most recently beat Bosnia-Herzegovina, with Omer Damari the danger man for the home side although Wales have a defence made of stern steel.

Swansea pair Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor are operating at a top level, with James Collins also bringing plenty of experience to central defence.

Joe Allen and Joe Ledley are also Premier League operators, with the downside to the team being a lack of cutting edge in attack and an over-reliance on Bale to wizard up chances or goals.

Chris Coleman will be eager to keep things nice and tight against that potentially dangerous Israeli attack, with six goals being scored in their first four games.

The visitors will operate on the basis that a draw will continue the good work for what is shaping up to be one of the tighter Euro 2016 groups.
