The city of Leicester have been in party mode since Monday night where the Foxes were crowned champions.

Saturday evening’s clash against Everton will be set against the backdrop of humungous celebrations, with the supporters ready to crown a set of players who were considered relegation candidates nine months ago.

Instead, Wes Morgan will lift the trophy and Claudio Ranieri will bask in the adulation of supporters, although we might not see the disciplined kind of performance that has driven them to the title.

The handbrake is likely to be off, with the players having had a modest preparation for the clash after claiming the title and there was plenty of alcohol consumed on Monday and Tuesday. Probably Wednesday and Thursday too.

Everton will arrive looking to play their part against the champions, with the Toffees having had a largely disappointing season and it will be galling for the fans to have witnessed a team achieve great things on a much smaller budget.

Nevertheless, Everton managed a 2-1 win over Bournemouth last weekend and we should see Romelu Lukaku back for the clash at the King Power Stadium.

It’s hard to call the winner of the game given that Leicester will be a lot more relaxed than they have been to date this season. Therefore, we will plump for several goals being scored instead.
