It’s been a tough opening to the Premier League season for the Foxes, with Leicester playing Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool among other teams.

All of those matches were lost, with City claiming five points from the remaining three and they now have a run of fixtures which could help the Midlands club pull right away from the bottom of the Premier League table.

Monday’s clash against West Brom is one of the fixtures, although this looks like a trappy encounter for Leicester considering they have failed to beat the Baggies at home for the past three seasons.

Last season, Tony Pulis’ side claimed a 2-1 win at the King Power Stadium, while they threatened to derail Claudio Ranieri’s title charge the year before when drawing 2-2 against the eventual champions. Previously to this, it was a 1-0 win for Albion.

Therefore, Pulis has the blueprint to succeed in this fixture even if West Brom have lost two of their three away games to date and their victory at Burnley was pretty scabby considering they had just one shot on target all game.

However, the pressure is on Leicester and on Craig Shakespeare who could be staring down the barrel should his team lose this game and the manager won’t have appreciated the disruption caused by the international break.

The Foxes were second best when drawing 0-0 at Bournemouth and we’re not sure they will be able to impose themselves against a team which could see James McClean return to the starting line-up after his heroics against Wales.
