Philip Hobbs has his in string in good form and he has double prospects at Ludlow this afternoon.

His BANYU is making his stable/hurdles debut in the opening maiden hurdle (due off 1.20pm) and, while the four-year-old is up against more experienced rivals, he did win three times on the flat in the French provinces before being bought out of a 1m2f Longchamp claimer in April. According to Hobbs (Stable Tour), he took time to acclimatise and get over a gelding operation but is going well now and is rated a good novice hurdle prospect. Richard Johnson rides and presumably connections have decided to start him here on account of the better ground that prevails.
