Betting Tip: Over 2.5 Goals @ 2/3 with ladbrokes

Manuel Pellegrini will leave with the goodwill of most Manchester City supporters, although it’s been a slightly frustrating three seasons for the Chilean as his reign comes to a close.

Reaching the Champions League semi-finals is no mean feat, although the former Malaga coach was unable to inspire his troops against Real Madrid over two legs, with the English side meekly surrendering at the Bernabeu.

Now comes the task of having to dust themselves down and bank a Champions League spot ahead of next season, with Pep Guardiola clearly hoping to take charge of a side that will be dining at Europe’s top table.

Arsenal are not the best opponents to be facing, with the Gunners a lot fresher than their opponents and looking to rein in Tottenham and grab second place in the Premier League table.

The natives are unhappy with Arsene Wenger although he’s engineered eight away wins this season and the London side are unbeaten in their past seven matches.

The past four Arsenal games have all featured Under 2.5 Goals although we expect this one to be a higher-scoring affair. Both sides favour attacking football and we’ve seen Over 2.5 Goals in three of the past four meetings.

Sergio Aguero and Kevin de Bruyne can chip in for the home side, while Kelechi Iheanacho looks part of an exciting future and has thirteen goals to his name this season.

For the Gunners, Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez should carry plenty of menace, while Wenger might look to give Jack Wilshere a first start of the season.

With Vincent Kompany once again missing out in central defence for City, then there should be more scoring chances for the visitors.
