Betting Tip: Norwich @ 4/5 with bet365

Norwich scored more goals than any other Championship team at home this season, with Canaries managing a grand total of 50. This firepower could be on display this weekend for an East Anglian derby where the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Norwich and Ipswich played out a 1-1 draw at Portman Road in the play-off first leg, with Jonny Howson’s opener swiftly cancelled out by Paul Anderson although Alex Neil will feel confident that his team can now get the job done and reach Wembley.

City were close to getting promoted automatically although a 1-0 home reverse to Middlesbrough put paid to these prospects before the latter then slipped up to allow Watford and Bournemouth to claim the top two spots.

Player for player, Norwich are superior to an Ipswich side who are punching above their weight to be in the play-offs although Mick McCarthy has plenty of experience when it comes to these big game situations.

It is worth noting that Town have only lost one of their last six games although that occurred at Ewood Park where two Daryl Murphy goals weren’t enough to prevent Blackburn winning that game and jeopardising Ipswich’s chances of making the top six.

Murphy is clearly the danger man after scoring 27 goals this season although Norwich have plenty of scoring threats, including midfielder Bradley Johnson who has never been more prolific during his career!
