There are several managers losing their job at the moment and Grant McCann must be feeling the pinch at Peterborough United, with Posh sitting thirteenth in League One and a bright start to the campaign has been followed by a winless run of eight games.

It was 27 August when United won 2-0 at MK Dons, although there have subsequently been five draws and three defeats, with Peterborough having drawn their last three League One matches.

Therefore, it’s a surprise to see them priced at odds-on with some bookmakers considering that Bury are six points better off at this stage, with David Flitcroft’s side having lost just once on the road this term and they sit third in the table.

Last weekend’s 2-1 defeat against Scunthorpe ended a five-match winning run in League One, although there are some talented players in the Shakers team including experienced forward Tom Pope and former Stoke midfielder Tom Soares.

The visitors seem in much better nick than their opponents coming into this game and they are worth a bet to seal three more points as they continue an unlikely promotion charge this term.
