Guess what, Tottenham won at Wembley on Saturday. A first three-pointer at home in the Premier League this season and the only goal came from a non-Harry Kane source.

Spurs are still finding it tough to get into their stride at their temporary home, although they look very comfortable on the road and have already racked up victories away to Newcastle, Everton, West Ham and Huddersfield. They also beat APOEL in Cyprus.

Realistically, the London side have little to lose from this trip to the Bernabeu considering they have already beaten Dortmund at Wembley and there’s also the fact that the German side were beaten at home to Real Madrid, meaning Tottenham are in the box seat to qualify.

Mauricio Pochettino insists that his team are going to play their normal game and he will have noted that Real have failed to beat Valencia, Levante and Real Betis at home this season.

However, Los Merengues have seemingly gotten back into their stride recently with a dose of wins and it’s worth noting that the dropped points against Valencia and Levante came without Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch.

The 3-1 win in Dortmund was more like the Real side who have won the Champions League for the past two seasons, with Ronaldo now into double figures for the season.

Tottenham have got their own master marksman and it’s fifteen for Harry Kane since the season started although expect the England captain to get some rough treatment in this clash.

With Dele Alli and Eriksen also providing a threat, then we can expect the visitors to play their part in an entertaining match but we’re backing Real and both teams to score.
