Reds might run riot at Liberty

The season is only six games old although the bookies have seen enough of Liverpool to go 4/9 about them winning at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday despite the fact that they have lost at Burnley this term.

The 2-0 reverse at Turf Moor does resemble something of a blip, with the Reds having won away to Arsenal (4-3) and Chelsea (2-1), while they were also the better team when drawing 1-1 at White Hart Lane.

At Anfield, Jurgen Klopp’s side have thrashed Leicester and Hull by an aggregate of nine goals to two, with goals coming from several players and their German manager has them playing high-tempo, high-press football.

Therefore, it’s easy to see why the bookies err on the side of caution with their away win odds, although Swansea won’t be turning up to defend against their opponents and City were firmly in their last game against Manchester City.

A slightly soft penalty helped the match go in the direction of the visitors, although the Swans did play some nice football and Francesco Guidolin will be optimistic that results can turn their way.

However, this is a tricky fixture before the international break and it might be the last time that the Italian takes charge of Swansea, with the Sack Race odds suggesting he could be out of a job any day now.

The home side might well play their part in an entertaining match as they did last weekend although it’s hard to see them stopping Liverpool considering they have conceded seven goals in three home matches thus far.
