Competitive Odds, Live Betting Functionality, Wide Variety of Betting Markets

Since Ontario sports betting launched online in April 2022, a number of operators have joined the mix providing great services to their players looking to have fun and win big. Party Sports Ontario is one of those options, providing an easy-to-use, no-frills sportsbook for bettors in the province.

Perhaps not as well known as some of its larger competitors, Party Sports Ontario offers some really nice features that make it a no-brainer for bettors to add to their online sportsbook Rolodex.

Our review of Party Sports Ontario will dive into what we like about its features, where we think they could improve, and how bettors who register for a new account can get the most out of their experience here.

Party Sports Betting App

On the one hand, it's great that a Party Sports app exists. There's nothing better than being able to take your online sportsbooks with you on the go. All the betting markets that are available on the desktop are there on the app, and it's relatively easy to navigate. But there's also some lag time and pages don't load as quickly as they do at some of the other, more built-out apps. We don't believe the online gaming experience is a bad one, but you may experience some slow loading times occasionally.

Pros and Cons

Pros and Cons

Pros
✔️ Competitive odds
✔️ Live betting functionality
✔️ Nearly 30 sports betting markets
Cons
❌ Mobile app has some lag time
❌ Lack of odds boosts and additional promotions compared to competitors
❌ Desktop website is a bit cluttered

Party Sports Ontario Best Features

The regulated Ontario market means that just about all online sportsbooks look and feel similar (and that's a good thing). Still, each betting site is unique in its own way and provides something a little different to separate it from its competitors. We've reviewed a number of different betting sites, and here are the features we like most about Party Sports Ontario:

➡️ Odds

Bettors have access to competitive odds at Party Sports Ontario, with most point spreads and totals in the -105 to -115 range. Moneylines, futures, and parlays are similar to what you can find at other Ontario sportsbooks. We always recommend bettors sign up with multiple sportsbooks so they can always find the best value at the sportsbooks across the province.

➡️ Live Betting at Party Ontario

Your sports betting experience doesn't end when the games begin. Party Sports Ontario has a number of live betting options on most markets. These odds update in real-time and are available throughout the duration of the respective game. We've noticed that the mobile betting site and app have some slower response times, which can affect live betting. But it shouldn't be too much of a detractor for bettors who want to bet in real-time.

➡️ Live Streaming

There are some live-streaming markets offered at Party Sports Ontario. While most major market games (and local games) are on television for bettors to watch, it's nice to be able to watch smaller market games when you place bets on them. It's a big win for Ontario sports betting apps to offer the ability to watch games straight from your tablet, phone, or computer.

➡️ Party Ontario Sports Market

Have you ever wanted to bet on alpine skiing? How about darts or table tennis? We know the vast majority of bettors are spending most of their time betting on baseball, basketball, football, hockey, golf, tennis, and soccer. But there's an incredible sports betting market list available at Party Sports Ontario that includes dozens of markets on just about every sport a bettor could imagine. Included are Gaelic sports and water polo. There are nearly 30 markets and we expect the list to continue growing.

➡️ Betting Options

Single game sports betting is offered like every other Ontario betting site. This includes pregame betting, live betting, and futures betting. There will always be a game going on somewhere in the world that bettors can place bets on, and the typical bet types like traditional bets, parlays, futures, totals, and moneylines are offered on just about every market.

Variety is the spice of life, and if a sports betting market exists, you can bet it at Party Sports Ontario Sportsbook. What's more, there are a number of different sports bets that players can make. These are pretty common among online sportsbooks, but it's still nice that the options exist here. Here are the main types of sports bets you can make, and an example to go with each:

✔️ Moneylines: Moneyline bets are only concerned with the winner and loser of a particular matchup. The point differential and total points scored do not matter. Each game has a favorite and an underdog. The favorite is a more expensive bet because they are expected to win, while the underdog is a cheaper bet because it would require an upset for them to win. For example, if the Toronto Maple Leafs were -250 favorites against the +200 underdog Blackhawks, a $250 bet on the Leafs moneyline would yield $100 profit. A $100 bet on the +200 Blackhawks would yield $200 profit.

✔️ Spread bets: Traditional betting lines almost always have betting odds between -105 and -115 because oddsmakers take into the account the difference in competition between the two teams. A point spread is a type of traditional bet that sets the difference between two teams. For example, the Raptors as -5.5 favorites against the Lakers means a bet on the Raptors would pay out if Toronto won by six points or more. The Lakers being 5.5-point underdogs mean they would pay out if they lost by five or fewer points or won the game outright.

✔️ Totals: Bettors may place bets on whether the actual number of combined points between two teams will be higher or lower than the total set by oddsmakers. For example, if the total between the Bills and Packers was set at 48.5, and the final score was 23-20 (43 points), the under would pay out. If the final score was 35-20 (55 points), the over would pay out.

✔️ Parlays: Parlays are a combination of two or more individual bets that produce more lucrative odds, but bettors must be successful on all legs for the bet to pay out. For example, a parlay of the Toronto Blue Jays (-120), Texas Rangers (-150), and Chicago White Sox (+150) would create parlay odds of +660. Hitting the parlay on a $100 bet would yield $660 profit. But if even one team loses, the parlay pays out nothing. Higher risk, higher reward.

✔️ Futures: This is a sports bet on the occurrence or non-occurrence of something happening by season's end. Examples include Most Valuable Player, Sixth Man of the Year, a team to win a certain number of games, or conference champion. These odds change accordingly throughout the course of a season, so bettors can make these bets up until the finality of the specific market.

✔️ Player and team props: Bettors can wager on more than game outcomes. Proposition bets are concerned with individual or team statistics. They are typically done in over-under fashion (a player or team to record over or under a certain number of points/hits/touchdowns) but can also include individual feats like first touchdown scorer, first home run, or last points scorer. At such a large sports betting platform like Party Sports Ontario Sportsbook, there are hundreds of different player and team props on the biggest markets to bet on.

Party Sports Ontario Payment Methods

Ontario residents are playing with real money, so it's important that Party Sports Ontario Sportsbook has simple and easy-to-use banking options.

Luckily, that's the case. Deposits and withdrawals are seamless and take just minutes to complete. No matter what methods you prefer, you'll be able to use your funds immediately, and withdrawals of winnings typically take a few days at most.

Note that your withdrawals must be sent to the same method that you used to deposit funds. That's a little less flexible than other online Ontario sportsbooks, but it shouldn't be a problem for most players.

Banking options include: Apple Pay; debit/credit cards, Interac e-transfer; Interac Online; Luxon; MuchBetter; paywithmybank; Fast Bank Transfer; MasterCard; PromoCode; Visa

Party Sports Ontario Sportsbook Safety and Security

Other Party Sports Ontario Products

Bettors who need a break from sports betting or have arrived at Party Sports Ontario Sportsbook on a slow sports night will have a few different options to whet their betting appetite.

Party Sports Ontario features casino games and poker games that all players can use after registering with the sportsbook. We love the versatility of online betting options that players have at their disposal (in addition to sports betting).

Party Sports Ontario Versus Other Ontario Sportsbooks

You won't find all that much difference between Party Sports Ontario and other sports betting sites in the province. If we had to compare them, it hurts Party Sports Ontario being a smaller player in the scene as they're not an official sportsbook partner of any local teams like some of its competitors in Caesars Sportsbook (NFL), FanDuel (Maple Leafs), or theScore Bet (Blue Jays). That may mean fewer odds boosts or promotions around those teams and leagues at Party Sports Ontario.

Responsible Gambling At PartySports Ontario

Online sports betting is only as fun as it is responsible. It's why Party Sports Ontario takes its pledge to promote responsible gambling seriously. Ontario bettors are able to activate cool-off periods or timeouts or even self-exclusion and deposit limits.

In more serious cases for players who believe they may have a gambling addiction, Party Sports Ontario has an FAQ section with resources for those players to get the help they need. All Ontario casinos and sportsbooks want sports gamblers to play responsibly, and Party Sports Ontario is no different.

Party Sports Ontario Sportsbook Last Thoughts

There's no such thing as a perfect online sportsbook. But there are tons of of great features for bettors to use when they play with Party Sports Ontario. The competitive odds, array of sports betting markets, live betting functionality, and easy banking methods means players will have an easy time making their bets.

The mobile betting app needs work, and the desktop can feel cluttered if you're not familiar with it. It also doesn't feature a ton of odds boosts and promotions that you'll find with some of the bigger operators in the province.

But that's splitting hairs, and Ontario bettors are free to use multiple online sportsbooks to see which fit them best. We think the traditional bettor and the ones who want to test out different markets will find Party Sports Ontario well worth their time.

What's more, the Party Poker and Party Casino options mean even more fun for players looking to switch things up on occasion. Likewise, poker and casino players will find the online sportsbook a nice change of pace when they need it.
