Leg 1: Talk about two teams heading in opposite directions. The Knicks have not only won four straight, they’ve covered the spread in all six games at Madison Square Garden. The Grizzlies have dropped five of six, each loss failing to cover as an underdog. A fifth-straight double-digit win for New York looms.

Leg 2: The Knicks were 3-3 and Jalen Brunson was scoring 31.2 ppg in that span. The last three games, New York has won them all and Brunson’s scored 16, 23 and 19. His shot attempts are down and the Knicks are better for it. Ja Morant is no lockdown defender, but Brunson hasn’t had great success against him and his team’s better if he shoots less. Look for that trend to continue.

Leg 3: Ja Morant averages 7.9 assists per game, but in his four games since a one-game injury absence, he’s dished out 10, 8, 13 and 8. Knicks point guards allow the second-most assists to opposing PGs. Morant’s shot isn’t there right now, so he can continue being a playmaker for others here.
